Failure to distinguish between aggression and defensive force when the state enters the picture creates all kind ethical confusion.
As our understanding of God grows, moral frameworks appear to shift. But it’s not that God’s moral principles changed. It’s just that they become clearer as God reveals himself through history.
What passes for a moral code in modern society lacks many things – chief among them – redemption.
I find these people who unthinkingly appeal to “the law” as a justification for any and every government action creepy.
