The moment I read the slogan, I thought, “It’s always about war with these people.”
The moment I read the slogan, I thought, “It’s always about war with these people.”
The shoe is about to be on the other foot. The “liberals” get to stick it to the right-wingers. They get to make them cry. They get to dominate them.
“The science” has become a religion.
Evil policies aren’t more palatable to me just because they are sold to me with a slick speech and a pretty smile.
I couldn’t belong to, or vote for, a party that actively booed the words of Jesus Christ, regardless of who was quoting them.
This should lay to rest once and for all the silly notion that gun control is about ending gun violence.
Racism is much more complicated than some kid wearing a MAGA hat. And and the fix will require more than yelling at each other on Facebook.
If Jesus guides our feet on the path of peace, how can we revel in war?
But consider this: Perhaps a system in which one politically connected lawyer has the power to “determine a lot about the nature of American life for a generation or more” is not the best way to organize a society. Maybe one member of the political class shouldn’t effectively rule over some 350 million people. Perchance the problem isn’t who’s on the Supreme Court, but its very existence.
